John helps clients turn their visions into reality by helping them solve complex financial challenges and reaching their personal financial goals. John began his professional career at Sterling Financial Group in 1998 and was made partner in 2002 where he became a registered representative with Commonwealth Financial Network, one of the nation’s leading independent broker/dealers. John has built his wealth management and consulting practice with a family office approach to best help clients in the development and implementation of their goal-centered financial strategies.
John was born and raised in Utah, where he also attended and graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with a BS in Economics. While John’s practice is still headquartered in his home state, he works with families across the United States.
John and his wife, Kim, reside in Holladay and have five children- Anna, Grace, Jack, James and Jacob. John is an avid sports fan and in his spare time you’ll find him cheering on the Utah Jazz or Utah Utes football and basketball teams. He also finds time to ski and play basketball with his family. He enjoys his time serving as a director in a private foundation focused primarily on supporting disadvantaged children.
